Over time, we have observed extensively in human history, a pervasive gender gap that effectively silences and erases women's accomplishments, experiences, and needs.

This can be seen through politics, in the workplace, as well as in the home and daily life…

Universally, society is defining women solely by their relationships to men: as wives, daughters, sisters, and/or mothers, and in turn erasing them, through misogyny and internalized sexism. REDACT speaks specifically to gender bias data and gender politics while investigating gender diversity: how the predominance of men can affect the lives of women and other minorities, the erasure of trans women and BIPOC women, the subconscious erasure of women over a certain age, and women everywhere succumbing to what is called the "default male".

Women are autonomous humans with their own dreams, goals, thoughts and desires, not merely a subtype of men.
Women are unseen, undiscovered, and unimagined.
We are so often quieted, muted. Why?
